Robyn Maree Pickens Two Poems
Sky blue with light to moderate intensity

These days we consult declassified spy satellite images from the 1970s to track
the disappearance of glaciers. All of the houses on the hill are aggressively situated

to capture the sun and steal views of the sea. I have traipsed most of yesterday’s sand
prints into the carpet, but partial outlines remain. At the sight of the waves
