Aideen Henry

Aideen Henry lives in Galway, Ireland and is a writer and a physician. Her debut short story collection, Hugging Thistles, was published with Arlen House in 2013 and her short stories were shortlisted for the Francis McManus Award in 2011, 2012 & 2015. Her debut collection of poetry, Hands Moving at the Speed of Falling Snow (Salmon Poetry, 2010) was shortlisted for the Hennessy XO Literary Awards for poetry. Her second poetry collection is Slow Bruise (Salmon Poetry, 2015).
