David Missen is an English language lecturer from Wiltshire, England. He was runner-up for both the Writers College (2024) and Michael Terence (2025) international short story awards and was short-listed for the 2025 Parracombe Prize. He lives with his wife and three young daughters, drinks copious amounts of coffee, reads constantly, and writes whenever his children are asleep (which is erratic at best).
