Cymro born and bred, Huw Gwynn-Jones comes from a line of poets in the Welsh bardic tradition. Now retired and living in Northumberland, his work has appeared in Shearsman, Acumen, Tears in the Fence, Lighthouse, and Stand.. His debut pamphlet, The Art of Counting Stars, was published in 2021.

Huw Gwynn-Jones's work featured in Stand Magazine comprises two contributions of poetry, over a period of three years.
