Kashiana Singh is a North Carolina resident and author of four poetry collections and one illustrative poetry book for toddlers. Her poems lean into life as a birthing house and navigate themes of resilience, belonging, and transformation. Woman by the Door (2022) was published by ApprenticeHouse Press. Witching Hour (2024) with Glass Lyre Press has been called a sacred collection and a luminous meditation of verses. Kashiana loves to engage in poetry communities and currently serves as President of North Carolina Poetry Society and Managing Editor for Poets Reading the News, Program Ambassador for Matwaala Collective.
