Laura McDonagh is a second-generation Irish writer from the north-east of England. Her work has been published in The Irish Times and sans PRESS and listed for the Life Writing Prize and the Fish Short Memoir. Her first book, a memoir entitled Commonplace, will be published by New Island books in spring 2027.
