Mara Lee Grayson

Mara Lee Grayson is a poet and a scholar of rhetorics of racism and anti-semitism. Her work has appeared in Columbia Journal, Fiction, West Trade Review, and other publications. Her poetry has twice been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. She is the author of Teaching Racial Literacy: Reflective Practice for Critical Writing and Race Talk in the Age of the Trigger Warning: Recognizing and Challenging Classroom Cultures of Silence. Grayson holds an MFA from The City College of New York and a PhD from Columbia University and is an associate professor at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
