Omar Sabbagh

Omar Sabbagh is a widely published poet, writer and critic. His latest books are: Cedar: Scenes from Lebanese Life (Northside House, 2023), Y Knots: Short Fictions (Liquorice Fish Books, 2023), For Echo (Cinnamon Press, 2024), RIP: Poems after Gaza & Words after Waddah (Cinnamon Press, 2024), and Night Settles Upon the City (Daraja Press, 2024). His latest work is Gazan Days, published with Dar Nelson in Beirut in June this year. He teaches English Literature and Creative Writing at the Lebanese American University (LAU).



Omar Sabbagh's work featured in Stand Magazine comprises four contributions of poetry, over a period of 17 years.
