Satterday Shaw

Satterday Shaw has a PhD from Northumbria University in Creative Writing. Her work has been printed in Meniscus, Mslexia, The London Magazine, a Chawton House anthology, Wasafiri, The Yellow Room, and other publications. She won the Ilkley Festival Competition and a New Writing North award in the UK; her fiction has been shortlisted for the Rhys Davies Short Story Award. She has worked in anti-racist education and taught Creative Writing to Roma teenagers, women with mental health problems and university students (bringing up a child with disabilities and trying to write, she’s worked part time).
