Sean O’Brien’s eleventh collection of poems, Embark, was published by Picador in 2022. His chapbook Impasse: for Jules Maigret appeared in May from Hercules Editions. A pamphlet, Otherwise, is to be published in the autumn by Dare-Gale. The recipient of numerous awards, he is Emeritus Professor of Creative Writing at Newcastle University.

Sean O'Brien's work featured in Stand Magazine comprises six contributions of poetry, two articles, and one review, over a period of 25 years.
